Disk Copy

Disk Copy

Disk Copy is making a complete digital copy of a all of the information on a server or PC disk.  The disk copy contains all of the information contained on the original disk is used as a backup, in the event of a disaster. Disk copies may include data files and folders or they may include system information, applications and settings in addition to data files.

A disk copy should be stored in a safe place. If some sort of catastrophic failure occurs, such as corruption of the original disk or a natural disaster, the copy can be used to access the information which is no longer available on the original.

In order to perform a complete disk copy, you should use software designed to copy all of the information on your server or PC disk. Simply copying the information will not save your system information, applications and settings, which you will need to access the data files in the event of a disaster.

StorageCraft ShadowProtect is disaster recovery software that allows you to safely copy your computer disks – whether on a server or a PC. ShadowProtect provides Real-Time Recovery of your systems and data in the event of a catastrophic failure.
